Welcome Speech on Teachers’ Day 2022 by Students in English
Respected Principal, Vice-Principal, Teachers and my dear classmates, all of you are welcome.
On this Teacher’s Day, I Manu Saini as a senior student have come in front of all of you to deliver a welcome address for my dear teachers. We warmly welcome all our teachers on this wonderful occasion of today, where today all of us students will present entertaining dance and colorful programs in front of you.
Teacher’s Day is one of the most important days of student life. This day is celebrated on 5th September, which is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was himself a very distinguished teacher and the second President of India.
Students are considered as the pillar of future of the country and you teacher is the person who builds this pillar. You mold our lives in the best way with your dedication and hard work. By celebrating this day, we want to tell you that we are grateful to you for everything you have done for us.
Today, I would like to talk to you all about one such incident, from which I came to know how important teachers really are. It was in those days when I used to study in Kinder Garden and when I wrote my first essay, my teacher gave me a star. For me it was not just a star but an inspiration to do well in life and today I am standing in front of you all as a senior student of my school. It was my teacher who boosted my confidence and this is the role of a teacher in a student’s life.
Simply put, teachers have a magic wand, which makes our life easy and successful. It has been rightly said that “Teachers are like a candle, which, burning itself, ignites our mind, thereby removing the darkness of ignorance from our mind. He molds us into a good human being and gives us the quality of knowledge.
He shares this knowledge with the hope that his student will achieve success in his life and make a good career. That’s why we all are indebted to our teachers for every success in our life, who always guide and entertain us, so that we can do our studies in an even better way.
In return for all this, our teachers never ask for anything from us, they only hope from us that one day we will become successful in life. So as a student it is our duty to work harder. So that our teachers can be more proud of us. To work hard in studies is not only our job but it is our duty, along with this we also need to teach the moral values taught by our teachers to the coming generations. In which the most important thing is to respect and respect your teachers.
Therefore, I would like to request all of you that you all follow this advice of mine and become ideal students of your teachers, so that a smile can be put on their faces.
Thank you all for listening so patiently to this speech of mine!
Respected Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and my dear friends!
Today we all have gathered here to celebrate this joyous occasion of Teachers’ Day. Today is 5th September and this is the day when we celebrate this occasion of Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm. Today I would like to thank my class teacher for giving me an opportunity to speak in front of you all on this auspicious occasion. This day is celebrated not only in India but all over the world in honor of teachers. On this day we do a variety of activities such as dancing, thanksgiving speeches and prayers etc. Similarly, on this day all of us students have made some special preparations for our teachers.
It was Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who accepted to celebrate his birthday as Teacher’s Day. Apart from being a noble person, he was also a very good teacher, that is why his birthday is celebrated as the day of the entire teacher society. Our teachers treat us very well, for which they do not want to get anything from us. He treats us like his own children and treats us as his own with a true heart.
As a student we always look to them for help. Our teachers are our role models and that is why we are indebted to them. He inspires us to achieve success in this world and is always ready to guide us, he is the person who understands our problems without telling.
I still remember when I was in 9th standard and I could not understand a Hindi poem. This was easily understood by the whole class and everyone was repeating it as told by our Hindi teacher, but without informing them, they came to know that I did not understand the poem. After the bell rang, when all the children of the class had left, he asked me to sit for a while and even though it was time for lunch, he explained the whole poem to me. So we can understand how great teachers are and how much they sacrifice for our bright future.
We all understand this thing that during parent teacher meeting he never complains about our mischief done in class. Instead they are more concerned about our studies. He never scolds us in front of our parents and always makes sure that we are not scolded by our parents.
Now I would like to invite my respected class teacher and Principal to come on this stage and kindly light the lamp on this auspicious occasion, after which the dance program can be started.
Respected Principal Sir, Dear teachers and my friends, all of you are warmly welcome in this program!
Teachers are an integral part of our life and they should be honored for their hard work and efforts. As an alumnus of this school, I have come to deliver the welcome address in honor of my dear teachers.
Teacher is the builder of our life, he is the other person who always wants our interest after our parents. Today on this occasion, on behalf of all my friends, I would like to thank my teachers for making us a good human being and making us capable enough that we can face the obstacles of the world with stoicism.
Teacher’s Day is celebrated in the memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, who was not only a great teacher but also the President of India from 1962 to 1967. He understood the importance of education as a teacher and explained the importance of education to the people. As a student, many times we have to face difficult situations, but due to all of you attention, we all learn from our mistakes. Taking advantage of this opportunity, on Teacher’s Day, I want to tell my teachers how much they mean to us. We are very grateful to all of you for what you do for us.
According to us people, this is the best day when we can thank you in the best way possible. We thank you because you are with us through our good and bad times. We can say that one day we will definitely make our teachers proud with our work.
Teachers always act as a guide for us, which makes us a responsible person from a student. He selflessly helps us to achieve our dreams and goals. Their contribution is not limited only to the school but they are also important in nation building because obedient citizens are also prepared by them. Therefore, like the parents, the teacher should also be respected and respected. This festival of Teacher’s Day is celebrated as a special day in schools and colleges all over the world. We students want to make this day even more special for all of you teachers, so we have brought flowers and greeting cards from our side to honor all of you.
We all know that you will not take these things from us, but please accept them as a gift of love and respect from our side. This day gives us an opportunity to express our gratitude towards the hard work of our dear teachers. So we all will try to make it a memorable day for you teachers.
Thank you all for giving your valuable time!
Teachers make a human being and instill in him the qualities of moral values, love and respect. A teacher is one who creates in the mind of a child the meaning of being born on this earth.
Respected Principal, and the inspiring and guiding teachers of this institution, who make our every work meaningful, a warm welcome to all of you in this program of today’s Teacher’s Day.
All of you teachers are our source of inspiration and guide, who show us the right path. Friends, today we all have gathered here to express our respect and love towards our dear teachers. Dear teachers, when we have gathered to celebrate this special day, but you all know that many times we do mischief and do not believe things, but you all face these problems very easily. Your every smile gives us more happiness and you also inspire us like our parents.
We also like you teachers because you accept us as we are. We believe that as a human being you have some personal problems like every other person, but still you forget your personal problems and try to bring smile on our faces. Your work is an inspiration for us.
Dear teachers, on behalf of all of us, you are warmly welcome in this program. We hope that this program will bring smile on your face, so that we students will feel that our hard work paid off and our dear teachers get entertainment and we can make this special day happy for you.
As a teacher, you build our overall personality and character, which instills confidence in us and empowers us to fight against all kinds of problems. Teachers are just like parents, who make a positive impact on our lives and whenever we have any problem, they are there to solve it. We all try to imitate our teachers at some point or the other, as he is our role model and helps us in building our personality.
Now in the end I would like to thank all my teachers for their hard work. All of you are our guide, who never let us fall and lose our way and make us realize that success is waiting for us after every failure, so we should never give up. We all express our sincere gratitude to you for giving us faith in ourselves and showing us the right path.
With this, I would now like to end this, thank you all!
