The Rudraksha International Cooperation and Convention Center was inaugurated in Varanasi on December 12, 2015 during the visit of former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe to India. Its construction then started from 10 July 2018. After 3 years, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rudraksha International Cooperation and Convention Center on 15th July 2021.

Built on 3 acres of land at Sigra, Varanasi, the total cost of the International Cooperation and Convention Center is Rs 186 crore. The center has a large hall fully equipped with air conditioner (AC) with a capacity of 1200 people. In addition, there is a small hall for formal meetings with a VIP room and four green rooms for seating for 150 people.
The Center for International Cooperation and Convention is designed by the Japanese company Oriental Consultant Global and built by the Japanese company Fujita Corporation. A small Japanese-style garden has been built in the center and Japanese paintings are carved on the walls. The installed capacity of the solar power project is 110 kW. Equipment was brought from Italy to keep the Rudraksha International Cooperation and Convention Center air-conditioned. The bricks in its walls help control the temperature and the fly has also been used with its concrete.
On the outside, 108 aluminum rudrakshas are made on its roof plates and the structure on it is shaped like a Shivlinga. Special care has been taken for the convenience of the disabled and 6 wheelchairs have been provided on both the doors. Special toilets have also been arranged for the disabled. The entire center is equipped with CCTV cameras and proper arrangements have been made for fire protection.
